This winter we will be welcoming groups from a diverse range of backgrounds to join our tree planting days at Great Avon Wood.
One of the barriers to access for our volunteering is not having the kit to keep warm and dry while out in the field. With this in mind, we would like to collect unwanted items in adult sizes and wondered if you could help.
We are looking for good quality:
- Wellies
- Old walking boots
- Fleeces
- Waterproof jackets
- Waterproof trousers
Please put your items in a plastic bag labelled Avon Needs Trees and drop off at the following addresses:
Bristol:
- Friday 1st December 10am – 4pm, Future Leap, 1-3 Gloucester Road, Bristol, BS7 8AA. Ask for one of the Avon Needs Trees team at reception.
- Sunday 3rd December 10am – 4pm, 7 Berkeley Road, Bishopston, BS7 8HF. Leave in the porch.
Chew Valley:
- Friday 1st December or Sunday 3rd December 10am-4pm, 5 Spratts Bridge, Chew Magna, BS40 8RZ.
