Many forces collided to bring Kerry to ANT as its new Visitor Experience Officer. Fuelled by a love of the great outdoors and a passion for working with people, Kerry has run a travel publishing company and a ski chalet, cycled across Europe and worked for sustainable travel teams (with Sustrans and North Somerset Council), waited tables and written best-selling guidebooks.

Something that links this diverse career is the desire to experience a place or environment in person, then to encourage others to appreciate it for themselves, whether through working as a guide or through producing creative writing and marketing communications.

Outside work, Kerry loves cycling, is a fledgling hike and bike group leader, and is an alum of nature connection course, The Call of the Wild. This fresh focus on being in (and realising that we are all) nature is a rich seam of inspiration for activities and experiences that could be found at Lower Chew Forest as it develops.
