Trainee Woodland Creation Officer
Recognising the need for diverse ways into green jobs, we are pleased to offer a Forestry Roots traineeship in partnership with Royal Forestry Society.
This is a paid position for a person aged 18-30 who will work alongside our Land & Habitat team for a year , developing a wide range of skills while also receiving mentoring and support from Royal Forestry Society.

Trustee (Voluntary, unpaid)
We are seeking two passionate and inspiring people to join our Trustee board. These volunteer positions are crucial to ensure Avon Need Trees continues to flourish in its mission to tackle the climate and nature emergencies by creating new, permanent woodland in the Bristol Avon River catchment.

Volunteer Leaders
Avon Needs Trees works with a range of volunteers across our sites in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bristol area and we are always on the look out for exceptional individuals who can train to become a Volunteer Leader, responsible for running tree planting sessions.
If you can spare a day a week to volunteer, please read the Role Description and then complete the Expression of Interest form for becoming a Volunteer Leader.
