We are delighted to announce that last week we received an award for ‘Conservation and Environment’ by Chippenham Civic Society for the creation of new permanent woodland at Pudding Brook Wood!
The award was presented to trustees Tara Castle and Nick Murry at a ceremony in Chippenham last week by Civic Society Chairman, Mike Stone, who with Civic Society President, Jack Konynenburg, described ANT’s work as a great example of enhancing our local natural heritage.
In accepting the award, Dr Nick Murry, a Founder Member and Trustee, said “This award recognises the hard work of Avon Needs Trees’ Board of Trustees, its officers, its funders and the many volunteers who have helped to plant and maintain these new woodlands”
Huge thank you to everyone who supports us with our work – this award is as much yours as it is ours!
