Join us for a family afternoon to explore the world of wildlife in the hedgerows, meadows and trees at our developing Great Avon Wood site near Pensford.
The session will feature a range of outdoor games, bug hunts, crafts and nature trail activities aimed at children aged 5-12. We will introduce you to the tiny insect life of the fields and hedges, the majesty of our ancient oak and the stunning views across the hills.

Booking instructions:
- These sessions are aimed at children age 5-12 (with flexibility for siblings) accompanied by parents or carers. The day is organised on the basis that you are able to supervise and take full responsibility for any children you bring.
- Please book places for each individual that will be attending each session (eg for one adult and two children please book three tickets for that session.)
- Please also complete the additional questions in the booking form so that we have important information such as emergency contact details.
- Please be aware that there are no hardstanding paths at Great Avon Wood and we are not able to allow dogs at events except for assistance dogs.
