Join us for storytelling around the Publow Oak as Lisa Schniedau shares tales of ancient trees and woodland folklore.

The Publow Oak has been growing for centuries. What has this mighty tree seen in its journey from sapling to ancient spreading oak? What stories does it inspire? Join Lisa Schniedau for stories of ancient trees, and folklore of human and woodland connection, in the shelter of the oak and the surrounding fields and hedgerows.

Lisa is a storyteller and environmentalist based on Dartmoor who trained as an ecologist and has worked in British nature conservation for over twenty years. She is the author of ‘Woodland Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland’, ‘River Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland’ and ‘Botanical Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland’ (all History Press).
