Eleanor holds an MSc in Environment, Politics and Development and joins Avon Needs Trees after spending four years working on outreach projects and behaviour change campaigns in the waste and recycling industry. Having co-facilitated an eco-anxiety peer support programme for climate activists with The Resilience Project, she is passionate about community-led action and encouraging people to spend time in nature.

As Communications and Digital Innovation Officer, Eleanor works across digital communications, helping to tell the stories behind Avon Needs Trees’ woodland creation projects through content creation, social media management and supporter engagement campaigns.

Born and bred in Bristol and now living in Bath, Eleanor has a strong connection to the Bristol-Avon catchment and is committed to protecting and restoring the landscapes that make the region unique. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, crafting and exploring local green spaces.
